Kindly ensure that the below listed documents are readily prepared and available to be uploaded during the online application process:
1. A clear photo of your valid identification document (both front and back) or passport.
2. A Proof of your Tax Identification Number (TIN).
- For Maltese tax residents, please upload either Maltese ID Card or proof of a nine-digit number given to you by the Malta Tax and Customs Administration. If you are a Maltese Citizen and you are unsure of your TIN, you can contact the Maltese tax authorities by emailing [email protected] or calling 153.
- For non-Maltese tax residents, please upload the most recent documentary evidence provided by the respective tax authority.
3. A Proof of your permanent residential address.
- The permanent residential address is the address you’re currently residing in.
- This is not required if your address is shown on your identification document.
- If your permanent address is different from the one on your identification document, kindly provide a Utility Bill (not older than 6 months) or Rental Agreement showing the address.

After submitting your application
Once your application is submitted, it will be processed by our team. You will then be contacted to schedule a 30-minute appointment at your preferred BOV branch to finalize the setup of your account.
Accessing Your BOV Savings Account
Your BOV Savings Account can also be accessed via a debit card and/or BOV Internet Banking.

You may apply for these additional services during your 30-minute branch appointment.
